Richmond Park Open Day

The Royal Parks Guild

Tony Hatton, Wildlife Officer, Richmond Park

Richmond Park held its first Open Day since covid and the Guild was there in support with a display of its well-known apprentice and trainee Discovery Days. During the day the Chairman led members on a tour of the historic environs of Holly Lodge.

Sadly by now the weather had turned rather wet and members retreated to the long Barn for a glass of prosecco in celebration of the day and Geoff Hyde’s birthday.

At the same time a toast was raised to Anna King, Holly Lodge Centre Manager, who is moving after many years of dedicated service to the centre and its aims.
