Updated: Jun 1, 2023

The 2021 event was held on the 16th October at the London Stadium, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

We had over 60 volunteers helping to make this a truly memorable and heart-warming event for almost 200 apprentices and trainees. The day was filled with talks, lectures, walking, mixing and exchanging in an inspiring venue at London Stadium in the setting of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Sir Peter Hendy with a video message, showing his huge support for the sector which plays a key role in looking after the largest urban park created since those of 150 years ago.

The day was full of inspiring moments shared by Chief Executives, Apprentices and Trainees.

Part of the day was to allow all the attendees to go on the pitch, which is normally not allowed as well as out into the park to see different features.

We also put on several special activities for 18 school children from City of London Boys School and Chobham Academy to show them what horticulture can do and why green spaces are so important.

You can watch the video below for more details about the event.
