We are so pleased so see Adam Stoter receive the Freedom of the City of London as part of the process of becoming a Liveryman with the Worshipful Company of Gardeners. Adam has joined as a younger Liveryman giving support to the Company's Education Committee.
Adam wrote on his Instagram channel:
'Personally honoured to receive the freedom of the City of London today. Next to me is Lee, best friend, brother, father figure. Lee took me under his wing as a 21 year old, who had never gardened in his live, sparking a passion for horticulture that will last a lifetime.
Through the toughest of times in life, when I felt like quitting, Lee always backed me. The people I have met through horticulture have been so generous, I could never pay them back. I will continue to do what I'm doing and help people along with way as my thanks to all of them.'
This is followed for a few comments after this post on Instagram including 'Legend' and 'Congratulations'. Adam is a member of the Royal Parks Guild Board and Events Committee connecting to Apprentices as the Royal Parks Apprentice Coordinator on the organising committee of the London Gardens Network and other activities. The Guild joins in the congratulations for a well deserved achievement.
