Discovery Day 2024

A Green Legacy - Growing the Future Together

It was hosted by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in partnership with the National Trust and The Tree Council.

Apprentices, trainees and schoolchildren came together with people from across the horticulture industry to learn and talk about innovations in green space and environmental management. Someone remarked how impressive it was to see so many influential organisations being represented on these days. 

A feature of the day were the workshop sessions, exploring current issues and future possibilities, elements of the feedback achieved through smartphone technology no less.

The response from attendees has been very positive with people loving the discussions, demonstrations, tours and  talks. This year was very ambitious but it was worth it.  Huge thanks to all our supporters and volunteers, joining us from a range of organisations, who made it happen and such a great success.
